Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Progress Reports: Grading period for Kindergarten through 3rd grades ends March 19, and progress reports will be distributed March 22.

Parent Seminar: Moms in Touch will host a seminar for parents on facing the problem of teen and preteen drug and alcohol abuse and the helpful community-based resources available to them on Thursday, March 11, from 7p.m. to 8p.m. at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido. Guest speakers will include Rob Klein and Benji Horning. For more information, call Mrs. Peters at 760-738-1753.

Duct Tape Needed: We are in need of duct tape for an upcoming school project. Please drop off roles of duct tape in the front office.

Used Uniform Store: The used uniform store, located across the hall from the library, will now be open on the 1st Wednesday of each month. It will be open immediately after the 2:40 p.m. bell until approximately 3:00 p.m.

Donate “Gently” Used Books. DVD’s, CD’s, and Videos: We are planning a used book/media sale for Family Fun Day. Now is the time to clean off those overcrowded bookshelves and media cabinets. Please bring your donations to the front office. Thanks!

Talent Show Auditions: Auditions for the 1st Annual Heritage K8/Digital Academy Talent Show will be held on Thursday, March 25 (a minimum day) from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the American Spirit Theater. We are looking for a wide variety of talented performers including singers, musicians, dance routines, magic acts, jugglers, group skits, and much more! Homework Stars: Congratulations to Homework Stars: Livia Thorogood and Victor Torres in Mrs. Kajita’s 2nd grade class; Mrs. Cook’s 3rd grader, Vaishali Kumar; Vienna Vargas in Mrs. Brunn’s 5th grade; and Daisy Zavala in Mrs. Lund’s 6th grade class. They each get to pick a book of their choice from the "Homework Star" bookcase. Students who complete all homework assignments for the entire week are entered into a weekly drawing.

Family Fun Day: Mark you calendars - Family Fun Day is Saturday, May 1, 2-7p.m., HK8 playground.
