Heritage Sock Tree: Thank you Heritage K8 and Digital families and staff! Because of your generous support, we were able to donate 470 pairs of socks and 6 pairs of gloves to deserving families through the Interfaith Council. Thank you, Stephanie Boren, for delivering them to Interfaith.

Charger Spirit Fridays: Students may wear their Chargers logo tops with uniform bottoms on Friday, January 15, and each successive Friday that the Chargers are playing until the Super Bowl.

Congratulations to Miranda Perez: Miranda was awarded 3rd Place and a $50 prize in the Middleton, Young & Minney LLP “Design Our Holiday Card” contest. You can view Miranda’s winning entry at http://www.smymcharterlaw.com/

Heritage Spirit T-Shirts: On sale in the front office. Short sleeves are $15 and long sleeves $20. Heritage Spirit Shirts may be worn on Fridays with uniform bottoms.

Box Tops for Education: Thanks to all Heritage families for turning in your Box Tops. Heritage just received a check for $847.90, which will be used for classroom needs and staff professional development. We couldn’t do it without you!

Heritage Jr. FLL Field Day: All 1st-3rd graders have been working hard on this year’s Jr. First Lego League challenge. They have come up with some creative and innovative solutions to transportation problems. Students would like to welcome their parents to the Multi-Purpose Room on Friday, January 15, at 1p.m. to show off the work they have done on their projects. An awards ceremony will follow from 1:30 to 2:30. Teams advancing to Legoland will be announced at the end of the ceremony.

After School Music Classes: Mrs. Guthrie has announced that Guitar (Mondays), Singing (Wednesdays), and Instrument (Thursdays) classes will resume in February.

Baskin Robbins Fundraisers: Baskin Robbins Fundraisers have been cancelled until further notice.

ECHS Information Meeting for 8th Grade Parents: The January 14 meeting in the Heritage Multi-Purpose Room has been cancelled. 8th grade parents will be receiving a notice from ECHS regarding their orientation meeting.

Campbell’s Label Contest: Our school wide goal is to collect 600 Campbell’s labels by Thursday, January 14, to qualify for a bonus prize. If we meet our 600 label goal, the classroom or advisory that collects the most labels will win a FREE DRESS DAY!

American Sign Language Class: Open to 6th-8th grade students (and parents if space is available). Classes will be held Tuesdays, 3-4p.m., January 12-March 16, at Heritage Digital Academy. Cost is $100 plus $10 for book (optional). Flyers and applications are in the front office or contact Michelle Perez at perez@tmail.com for more information.
