Back To School Nights: Parent Back To School Night for Grades K-6 is Tuesday, August 18, 6:30p.m. beginning in the Multi-Purpose Room. Junior High Grades 7-8 Parent Back To School Night is Wednesday, August 19, 6:30p.m. beginning in the Multi-Purpose Room. NO CHILDCARE will be PROVIDED.

Welcome Back Barbeque: No need to pack a lunch on Wednesday, August 19! To celebrate the start of our successful 7th school year, Coach is providing a hot dog and hamburger lunch for the entire student body. Please provide your student with a snack for recess/nutrition break.

Otter Pop Sales: Otter Pops are coming soon! Sales will begin on Monday, August 24. Still only 25 cents! If you would like to donate a box or two of Otter Pops, please bring them to the front office.

School Uniforms: Just a reminder light blue polo shirts are not part of our uniforms this year. Navy, maroon, and white are the acceptable colors of the school polo shirts.

Please note a change in the uniform guidelines:In addition to black, navy, and maroon logo uniform sweatshirts, white logo sweatshirts are also allowed and are available at Top End Tees & Apparel, located at 146 Grand Ave. in downtown Escondido, 760-746-8461. Store hours are M, T, TH, F 9a.m. to 4p.m. and W 9a.m. to 3p.m.

Used Uniforms: Do you have gently used uniforms that your student has outgrown? The front office will take donations of uniforms for resale. All used uniforms will be sold as a fundraiser at a very low cost to our families. For more information please contact Vicky Keyser at 737-311 x5212,

Library: Like to volunteer in the Library? There will be a brief meeting Monday, August 17, at 8:00am in the Library. Opportunities include library helper when classes come through, substitute helper, barcoding, and covering books at home.

Volunteers: All school volunteers are required to have a current TB test (within the last 4 Years) and a volunteer application on file before beginning any volunteer work. If you are not sure your TB test is current, please contact the front office.

Volunteers Needed: The school is in need of a Gardening Coordinator(K-3) and a Landscaper Architect (to design a shade garden). Please contact Ms. Holland if you are interested in either position.

Pizza/Taco Lunches: Taco lunches will begin on August 25th and Pizza lunches will start on Friday, August 28th. More details to come.
