Heritage Notes Tried to Go Green:
Due to many requests, Heritage Notes will again be distributed in all K-6 classrooms each Friday. It is still available on the Heritage website and copies are available in the front office.

Athletic Equipment Needed:
Cleaning out the garage or the overflowing hall closet and don’t know what to do with all those unused soccer balls, hula hoops, and footballs? Donate your gently used items to the Heritage K8 playground! Please drop off donations in the front office. We gladly accept new items too!

Halloween Candy Warning:
Sherwood’s Milk Chocolate Pirate’s Gold Coins contain melamine. They are made in China and contain the additive melamine, which has been proven harmful and even fatal to children. Please do not distribute these candies and check your children’s Halloween bags.

On The Border Fundraiser:
Supporting the Heritage 7th & 8th Grade Civil War Day never tasted so good! Dine in or take out at the On The Border Restaurant at Westfield North County on Sunday, November 2, from 11AM to 10PM, and they will donate 20% of all the proceeds to Heritage Civil War Day. You must present a flyer, which you can print from our web site, www.heritagek8.org.

Perfect Attendance Awards:
Congratulations to the 178 students who had perfect attendance in October! They have earned a “Free Dress Day Pass” on Thursday, November 6. All students can earn a “Free Dress Day Pass” by having perfect attendance for the month of November. Perfect Attendance means you must be in school every day and not be tardy. All classes can earn “Free Ice Cream Snack” if their class has Perfect Attendance for the month of November. The Perfect Attendance Contest begins Monday, November 3, and runs through Tuesday, November 25.
