Heritage Notes

Library:
Congratulations to Sophia Rideout and thank you to her family for celebrating
her 6th birthday by donating a book to the Library!
Donations Needed:
The Library needs to replace Holiday, Winter, and Valentine books that
were lost or misplaced during the renovation. Please drop them off in
the front office.
Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on October 22, 23, & 24.
All parents should email or call their child’s teacher to make an
appointment. All three days are Minimum Days.
Traffic/Parking Concerns:
Please do not park in front of Heritage Digital Academy or cut across
their parking lot when dropping off or picking up your students.
Associated Student Body:
Attention all 7th & 8th grade students interested in joining ASB:
an informational meeting will be held during lunch (12:00pm - 12:30pm)
in the Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday, October 7.
Skaters and Cyclists:
California law requires children under the age of 18 to wear protective
head gear (helmets) while on public roads. All Heritage students leaving
campus on a bike or skateboard must have proper head gear.
Perfect Attendance Awards:
133 students earned a Free Dress Day Pass on Oct. 3 for Perfect Attendance
during the month of September. No class had perfect attendance this past
month. Mrs. Seavello’s Kindergarten was closest to perfect attendance
with 65%. Perfect Attendance means you must be in school every day and
not be tardy. All classes can earn “Free Ice Cream Snack”
if their class has Perfect Attendance for the month of October. The Perfect
Attendance Contest begins on Wednesday, October 1, and runs through Friday,
October 31.
Attention Crafters/Vendors:
The 1st Annual Holiday Gift Faire will be held Thursday, December 4, from
5-8PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. Proceeds will benefit the Heritage classroom

Electronic Homework:
Homework assignments, for grades 3-8, are now available on our web site
at heritagek8.org. Just click on Electronic Homework and then click on
the date you wish to see.
Spaghetti Dinner:
Support the ECHS Girl's Volleyball team by participating in this year's
spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Tuesday, October 28th, from 5 - 7 p.m.
in the Student union. The cost is $10 per person and $35 per family (5
max). Advanced tickets can be purchased in the Heritage front office or
by calling Laura Geist at 619-885-6552(c) 760-781-3379(h).
