Picture Day:
Come dressed in your best for school pictures. This is a non-uniform day, but you still must follow the school dress code. Picture day is Wednesday, August 29th. Some of the old calendars have picture day listed as August 30th. Please note picture day has been changed and is now on August 29th.

Music Programs:
The Heritage Music Department will offer a Band and a Choir Club:
Choir will meet on Thursdays after school from 2:40 - 3:40 p.m. (Grades 1-8, no previous experience is required.)
Band will meet on Tuesdays after school from 2:40 - 3:40 p.m. (Grades 4-8, experience preferred, but not required. Individual lessons and practice will be needed outside of school.)
The Music Clubs will begin next week and will meet in the Music Room, bldg. 1865, Room 101. At 3:40 p.m. when Band and Choir Club is over, students will need to be picked up promptly, in front of the school office. Any Questions, please contact Mr. Serfass by email:

Late Pick up:
We are now charging for late student pick up. If your student has not been picked up by 3:00 p.m. on regular school days or by 1:00 p.m. on minimum days, then they will go to Room 107A (2/3rd grade room) with Mrs. Lang. When you come to pick them up, you will need to enter through the front office and proceed to Room 107A to pickup and sign your student/s out. You will be billed one dollar, per student, for each minute that you are late in picking them up. Please remember if one of your children has detention, tutorial or any other after school activity on campus, his or her sibling must be picked up at the regularly schedule time. We have no after school day care available. If a sibling is left at school after 3:00 p.m. you will be charged the after school late pick up fee. If you as a parent are conferencing with a teacher or staff member after school, please make arrangements for your children to be picked up, as we have no one available to watch them while you are in the classroom or the office.

Uniforms: A few reminders:
Only white shirts may be worn with the PLAID skorts, skirts and jumpers. No other colors are allowed.
All uniform bottoms must be Dickies School Uniform or True Grits brand. No other brands allowed.

Free delivery to school.
We have some P.E. uniforms, polo shirts, Heritage sweatshirts, sweaters, windbreakers and Eisenhower jackets still available for sale on campus. Please pick up an order form from the office, fill it out and turn it back into the office. Once your order is filled, you will be called to pay and pick up your order from the office.
Heritage youth and adult embroidered Baseball caps are available for sale in the office. These are the only hats allowed on campus. No hats may be worn inside.
